On behalf of Roadstone Ltd, Quarryplan has secured planning permission for a deepening of a Limestone Quarry at Ballintra, Co. Donegal. The planning application, accompanied by an EIAR and NIS was able to successfully demonstrate that it would not result in any significant effects upon the environmental or upon the integrity of any European Sites, including Ballintra SAC which is designated for its European Dry Heaths and Limestone Pavements, and is located directly adjacent to the existing quarry. Permission was granted by Donegal County Council in May 2025.
