Our team has direct experience in delivering planning permissions for single wind turbines, large scale wind farms, solar PV arrays and anaerobic digestion/biomass projects throughout the UK and Ireland.

Not only are we helping with existing carbon reduction and renewable technology, working closely with a partner company, Quarryplan are also exclusively assisting a number of our clients in Northern Ireland with the development and implementation of new hydrogen-based technologies, bespoke to their individual needs.

Site finding, feasibility and development advice

Identify and assess potential development sites and provide advice on feasibility and potential constraints

Site Investigations to include topographic surveying

Provide advice on physical characteristics of sites and their suitability for accommodating renewable development using our state of the art surveying technology

Site Acquisition

Advice in relation to the purchasing of lands for renewables development including identifying relevant issues and opportunities to maximise the potential of a property.

Pre - Application Discussions and local Community Engagement

Facilitate pre-application discussions with Planning Authorities and the provision of information, story boards, 3D models and expert attendance for Community Consultation Events.

Preparation, submission and management of planning applications

Quarryplan manage all aspects of the planning process including appointing appropriate specialist consultants, compiling planning applications to meet validation requirements and submitting to planning Authorities.

Discharge of Planning Conditions and implementation

Quarryplan manage the post- planning decision stage of the project, ensuring the requirements of all planning conditions are met and the permission can be lawfully implemented.

Our team has a firm understanding of local and national planning policies for renewable/low carbon energy projects; the EIA and planning system; and the requirements of local planning authorities. Quarryplan work closely with trusted expert consultants in the fields of landscape, ecology, archaeology with our combined specialist skills helping to maximise the prospects of achieving planning permission.
