Proposal: The proposal is for the phased winning and working of hardrock (basalt) consisting of the deepening of the existing permitted quarry from the approved floor level of 235mAOD to a quarry floor level of 190mAOD using conventional drilling and blasting techniques, the restoration of the site to a biodiversity afteruse and all other ancillary development associated with the same.
Location: Lands at Mountfield Quarry, 22 Inisclan Road Mountfield Omagh BT79 7QB.

A public drop-in event, regarding the proposed development, shall be held at the Silver Birch Hotel, 5 Gortin Road, Omagh, BT79 7DH on 28th April 2025 between 5pm and 7pm.
Those attending the drop-in event will be invited to provide comments and ask questions regarding the project.
