Public Consultation Camlough Road (Loughdoo Aggregates) Application for Sand & Gravel Extraction

Loughdoo Aggregates (10 Loughdoo Road) have submitted a proposal of application notice (PAN) to Mid Ulster District Council.

The PAN advises the Council that the Company intend to submit a planning application for “Sand and Gravel Extraction, including access from the Camlough Road, and internal haul road and restoration to a mix of agricultural and wetland neuter conservation habitats”.

The location of the proposed planning application is “lands east of 220 Camlough Road, Camlough, Pomeroy, BT70 2ST

Pursuant to Section 27 of the Planning Act (NI) 2011 (and amended legislation provided due to the ongoing COVID 19 restrictions), the prospective applicant (Loughdoo Aggregates) are conducting an online community consultation. The Applicant welcomes all visitors to the consultation and would request that comments and observations are provided to their planning consultants, Quarryplan Limited.

If the prospective applicant applies there will be an opportunity to make representations on that application to the Council at a stage within the planning process.
