In late 2009, Quarryplan submitted two planning applications for continued sand and gravel extraction in the Ballybriest Area near Draperstown.  The Applications, which were submitted on behalf of Creagh Concrete Products Ltd and Northstone (NI) Ltd, have both received recommendations from Planning Service for approval within a 6 month period from their respective submission dates.
